President's Cup

Good news, the President’s Cup has been rescheduled for April 25 & 27.  To accommodate the busy remainder of our season, we went to a split day – Thursday & Saturday – tournament, with an awards lunch following play on Saturday.

The Guest Day previously scheduled for April 25 has been eliminated along with the horserace that precedes the tournament. 

Entry envelopes for the President's Cup are now available in the locker room.

Men's Club Election

There are 2 board of director positions open next year and with only 2 candidates applying there will be no election as prescribed in the by-laws. The 2 members to fill those positions are: Ken Resnick & Wayne Tanaka. They will be filling the positions of outgoing board members John Dempster & Dean Wartelle.

The Club Championship was played on March 15-17. There were 5 divison titles. Congratulations to the following:

Team Play 2019

Congratulations to PGA West!!! The defeated Palm Valley in the Championship Match which was played here at Monterey on Monday April 15. PGA West won 86-58.

For the second season in a row Monterey finished the season tied for first. This year they tied with Palm Valley at 6 wins & 2 loses. Palm Valley wins the division because of their win over Monterey. Monterey's record ties then for the second best record overall in the league.

This was a very good year for our team and I want to thank all the players for their participation this year. Here's to next year!!!
